Cable TV

A system that distributes audio-visual content to homes via cable. Usually offers a significant number of channels available as a paid service.

Composite

In this standard the video signal is transmitted over one wire only, combining image information (Brightness and Color) and color in the same signal. That’s why this standard has poor image quality for video transmissions over cable; it’s one of the most popular types of video connection, and uses an RCA connector ("Radio Corporation of America", the company that introduced this type of connector in the market in the mid-forties), the information travels along an internal wire, covered by the shielding, and then the rubber insulation.
