Ginga: It’s the specification for the intermediary software layer standard (middleware) developed for the Brazilian Digital TV System by Puc-RJ and UFPB.

In order to develop the Ginga Middleware and the interactivity components for Digital TV, TOTVS and Quality partnered to create an alliance called TQTVD (TOTVS - QUALITY for Digital TV), which combines TOTVS' ability to develop technology and systems with Quality's extensive knowledge of software development for consumer electronics.
