TV Globo announced its plans to realize tests this year with interactive content on digital TV.
The broadcaster had already demonstrated in April the application that is being transmitted simultaneously with the soap opera “Caminho das Índias”. There are plans for transmitting applications for Brasileirão 2009 (Brazilian Soccer Championship), and, in the next year, for Big Brother Brazil 10.
TQTVD was hired as consultant by TV Globo during the development of all three cases, since the conception and creation stages up to the final development of the interactivity. The process involved the Engineering Department of TV Globo, in São Paulo, and Globo's Production Center, in Rio.
