TQTVD participates in the first presentation of full interactivity in Brazilian Digital TV.

The interactivity in Digital TV was presented – as an experiment – on Friday, May 8th, in Betim, Belo Horizonte, with content from SBT and Alterosa TV.

The initiative began from a partnership between MXT (modem manufacturer), TQTVD, and Visiontec, besides SBT and Alterosa TV. The effort resulted in a public presentation, where Visiontec set-top boxes, running AstroTV (TQTVD's middleware) and connected to a MXT's modem enabled a demonstration of SBT'sInteractivity Portal.

In the event, the Minister of Communications, Hélio Costa, inaugurated the MXT's factory – that will produce modems that enables the interactivity – and tried for the first time the full interactivity, which uses the interactivity channel. David Britto, TQTVD's Technology Director was present and presented SBT's portal to the Minister.
